Kestrels have been asked to design new houses for the woodland elves who sadly lost their homes during a terrible storm. Here are some of the elf houses they have designed and made at home:

This is my Elf home and garden. I used things I found in the garden. There is a hot tub corner, bell, the sponge is a trampoline, campfire, the tunnel is a bed, a seesaw, I used some fake grass.

Kestrel Class have been busy reading 'James and the Giant Peach' by Roald Dahl. At home they have been busy completing writing active based on what we have rea. Here are some examples of the Kestrel's work:

Home Learning

Write a recipe/ set of instructions to teach someone how to make the 'tiny green things' that the old man gave James.



 

Ingredients: 


 

Sprinkle of Fairy dust 

1 x crystal

8 x Spider legs

1 cup Snail slime



 

Instructions:

Step 1 - Take one crystal place it in a pan

Step 2 - Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of fairy dust on to the crystal

Step 3 - Pour 1 cup of snail slime in to the pan

Step 4 - Remove the legs from 1 large black spider

Step 5 - Add the 8 spiders legs to the pan

Step 6 - Bring to the boil and then simmer for 45 mins

Step 7 - Heat the oven to  200 degrees celsius

Step 8 -  Blend the contents of the pan to a smooth paste

Step 9 -  Pour the paste in to a tiny green things mould

Step 10 - Bake in the oven 2 hours, checking every 30 mins

Step 11 - Remove from oven and allow to cool

Step 12 - Remove from mould and serve
