Starting School

This is where families who have a child starting school in September 2020 will find out more information.

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a really important decision and we want to provide you with high quality information about our school in order to support you.

There is a great deal of information about our school on this website but we believe the best way to get to know us is by visiting. We encourage you to visit during the school day, when you will get the best sense of what the school will feel like for your child.

Stay and Play

Stay and play opportunities throughout 2019 - 20

Miss Smith will be running stay and play afternoons from 1.30 - 3pm in Wagtail class throughout the year. You and your child are welcome to come along and join in, even if you are still deciding on your choice of school.

Please call the office to find out when the next Stay and Play afternoon session is happening: 01454 260510

School Uniform

School uniform can be purchased from school or bought online please click here

If you would like to visit us, please call the school office on 01454 260510 to make an appointment. Alternatively you can email the office:

During each visit you will be given a tour of the school (usually by the headteacher) and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If you require a private appointment to discuss sensitive personal information about your child and their needs, please lets us know when you book.

Ready for School

Children are all different and there is no one definition of what makes a child ready for school. There are however, a number of indicators which mean your child is well on the way to being ready.

We have produced a short booklet about school readiness which you can download here. Paper copies will be available for you to take away at our pre-school sessions, (Booklet still in draft - coming soon)

The next Stay and Play sessions are on 12 March and 14 May. The May session will be outdoors in the Wild Woods so bring wellies and a coat. A parent needs to stay with their child for Stay and Play. We look forward to seeing you.
